Choosing an Egg Donor
Selecting an egg donor is a highly personal decision.

Donor Screening
Donors are evaluated according to the medical protocols of the fertility clinic responsible for the program and the applicable requirements of the jurisdiction in which treatment takes place.

- Psychological assessment, where applicable
Final donor eligibility is determined by the treating medical team.
Treatment Coordination
Once a donor has been selected and approved, the fertility clinic manages the clinical process. Depending on the treatment plan, this may include ovarian stimulation, monitoring, egg retrieval, laboratory assessment, cryopreservation or fertilisation.
Barkan Bio Logistics coordinates communication between the client, donor program, fertility clinic, laboratory and logistics providers to help ensure that each stage is properly organised.
International Network
Barkan Bio Logistics works with fertility professionals, clinics, laboratories and partners across different countries.
This international network allows us to assist clients whose treatment may involve more than one jurisdiction — for example, donor selection in one country, embryo creation in another and treatment or storage at a separate fertility centre.
Rather than requiring clients to coordinate independently between multiple providers, our team helps connect the different parts of the process.
Who May Consider Egg Donation?
Egg donation may be considered for a number of medical or reproductive circumstances, including:
